ESPN -- Tuesday, September 27, 2005 -- Airgid Media Inc. produces interactive media for ESPN. Projects include Dr Pepper football game, ADT Promotion and creation of multimedia ad units.

Kevin Airigd will appear on G4 Tech TV -- Thursday, September 22, 2005 -- I will be speaking at DesignFest Oct. 08 about freelance web design. I will also be taping a 3-minute segment for G4 Tech TV, “Call for Help,” in which they evaluate web sites that have been created and submitted by their viewers for review and suggestions. I'll post air dates of the show later.

CBC News XML Flash system -- Thursday, July 14, 2005 -- CBC News uses XML driven Flash multimedia templates to help speed up production. The Flash template system enables CBC News to edit one XML file and add audio, images and even video to an interactive presentation in a matter of minutes. This system was designed and programmed by Airgid Media.

toronto.com Reboots -- Tuesday, June 7, 2005 -- Airgid Media is pleased to have contributed to the redesign of toronto.com. Our efforts included the redesign of the home page and usability consulting.

Speaking at DigiFest -- May 24, 2005. -- Kevin Airgid will be speaking at DigiFest Canada's annual festival of design and digital culture.

Kevin Airgid is judging HOW Magazine's 7th Annual Interactive Design Awards -- Friday, April 22, 2005 -- Airgid Media's creative director Kevin Airgid has been selected as a judge for the up coming annual interactive design awards.

Women under Fire Interactive launched for Amnesty International and Control Arms -- Tuesday, March 8, 2005 -- Today AirGid Media launched a multi-lingual interactive Flash piece to help raise awareness about gun violence against women.

Speaking/Judging at Flash in the Can -- Wednesday, January 5, 2005 -- I will be speaking at Flash In The Can on how to start and run a successful web design business. I will also help to judge the design competition. I'll post more news when it becomes available.

CBC News: Disaster in Asia Interactive Map -- Thursday, December 30, 2004 -- This interactive map was produced in a very short period for CBC News coverage of the event as it unfolded in Asia.

Amnesty Stop Violence Against Women -- December 22, 2004 -- I recently completed a Flash project for Amnesty International the features Flash video, and interactive stories about human rights abuses against women. The project was translated into several languages and used world wide.

Digital Creative Arts Feature -- Tuesday, December 7, 2004 -- I created a 7 page spread for Digital Creative Arts Magazine. The tutorial features how to build a vintage "B" sci-fi movie poster in Photoshop CS. You can see this tutorial in issue 15. (page 46)

Movie Site Launched! -- Monday, September 27, 2004 -- I was involved in the design and creation of the Flash site for the new movie Up Against the 8 Ball. The site features Flash video, and a lot of interactive media.

Featured in Digital Creative Arts -- Wednesday, September 22, 2004 -- Kevin Airgid is featured in issue 13 of Digital Creative Arts magazine. The feature interviews how he uses Photoshop with his Flash development work. Check out page 23 for the full color spread.

Speaking at Flash In The Can -- Friday, July 30, 2004 -- Kevin Airgid will be speaking at the flash in the can 4 City Tour on October 19. I will be discussing how good design and usability can live together.
